What's On Your Bookshelf?

I've really been enjoying Charles Martin's books lately. He's a christian writer so there isn't bad language or nasty talk. Really feel-good books. I'm finished with all his books and was wondering what you all are reading.

Midnight Sun

Someone leaked on the internet a partial draft of Stephenie Meyer's Midnight Sun manuscript (which, as you probably know, is Twilight retold from Edward's perspective) and now Stephenie has offered the partial draft (12 chapters, non-contraband this time) on her website. I read the leaked version and I loved it, so I really hope she publishes Midnight Sun in the future (when she's not so angry about the leak).

Ladies, I just read on Stephenie Meyer's blog that due to circumstances regarding the Harry Potter movie being delayed, Twilight will be released in theatres on November 21st now! Check it out!

The Twi-hards at church are getting ready for the big release of the last Twilight book. I found this magazine photo and I thought you ladies might want to comment on it. I think that it looks like Edward ate a cherry Otter-pop before the photo shoot. And what about the chest hair?

So, I am like an addict for these books now and I am up really early and I came across this wonderful new information. Twilight

Here's a little treat for those who are "slightly interested" in Twilight. The last posts about the books mentioned the movie that is being made. I know some of you are "kind of " excited to see it. So, here is the official movie poster and movie trailer that came out yesterday.

Are we up for another round of discussion about Twilight? Any theories about what is going to happen in the last book, Breaking Dawn? Has everyone read the first chapter of Midnight Sun yet? And as a side note, is anyone planning on reading The Host?

Good books

I've always loved to read but don't always have the time for it. Or I choose not to read much because I have a tendency of ignoring other responsibilities so I can finish a good book. I got a Springville library card recently and have been reading a lot again. Gage just woke up so I can't do a long post, I just want to see what everyone is reading now, or lately, and if anyone has any super great recommendations of books they have loved. I'm rereading the Work and the Glory series and am loving them all over again. The stories and history inspire and move me.
