I'm going to wrap a bunch of boxes and use them as outdoor decorations. I need advice/ideas on what I can wrap them in so they will be snow and rain proof. Any ideas ladies??
Well, in order for the box to keep its shape, you could try keeping it dry by putting a garbage bag around it and tape it up to prevent any leaks. Then you could put anything over that. I would probably use some material (anything pretty that's waterproof, or non-waterproof that would still look good wet) and use hot glue to cover it. It would dry, I guess, if it got wet, but it wouldn't deteriorate because of the bag protecting the box.

You could always use vinyl table clothes. It may be harder to wrap the little presents but at least they'll be weather proof.
What about cellaphane (sp). Red and green, that might resist the snow and wind and water.

Ooh good ideas everyone, thanks!
You could use wood in the shape of gifts, spray paint them and put a bow on them. Its pretty easy, weather proof, and cute.
