Our Little Wyatt actually slept for 3 hours in a row last night. I know that's not amazing for some of you, but he had been getting up every hour to two hours to eat, and let me tell you I have been sooooooo tired! He is only 3 weeks old now, and hopefully the older he gets the more he will sleep. I feel like a new woman today, it's amazing what a little extra sleep can do!

Congrats! He is beautiful. What a handsome young man. I love the name as well. Well done momma! Aren't you glad you did the whole crazy bed rest thing? Try to get some sleep! He will quickly get into the routine, sleep when he does! I fed mine every three hours too!
I know what you mean about getting just a tiny bit more rest at once. When my baby came home from the hospital, she was waking up every two hours through the night for two whole months. Then all of the sudden, she slept for 8 hours and has since (if not 12 hours). I remember that first night she slept, I woke up automatically, to feed her, but she didn't wake up like I expected her to. I felt AMAZING the next day for having the extra sleep. I was starting to become a zombie. So congratulations! I know how good you must feel! And lucky for you, it only gets better.
Man he is so adorable. Some newborns look like aliens but Wyatt is so genuinely beautiful. He's what? My first cousin once removed? YEY!
I'm glad you got to sleep a tiny bit more. I think that's the HARDEST thing about a newborn. Nothing messes me up more than not enough sleep. It makes me meaner, more emotional, I get sick more easily, and I have no energy for anything. I HATE not getting enought sleep. Hopefully the stretches will get longer and longer. Gage is 17 months old and still gets up once during the night most nights. Sometimes twice.
