Magical Music

Emma is having a magic theme party. I am pretty much set, but need some suggestions for music that is about magic or magical beings like fairies, magicians, trolls, elves, witches, genies or wizards. I ruled out witchy woman and magic man because I thought they were too adult and not that dancy anyway. Thanks.

There's always Puff the Magic Dragon (not really a dance song), and the song in Cinderella where she's getting transformed (bibbidi, bobbidi, boo). I'll keep thinking though. Have you looked online? I'm sure that would be a really good source.

I wish we could come!!!! I'm sure it'll be lots of fun.

What about like a Harry Potter soundtrack?

Oh wait, dancing music. Hmm. There's the song "Double Trouble (Something Wicked This Way Comes)" from The Prison of Azkaban that is good. How about "I Put a Spell On You" by Sam Bush, although my favorite versions are by Creedence Clearwater Revival or Screamin' Jay Hawkins (but they're not as up-tempo as Sam Bush). Or there's "Do You Believe In Magic" by The Lovin' Spoonful. "Witchcraft" by Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley. "Magic Bus" by The Who. "Magic Wand" by the Jettison Babies. "Genie in a Bottle" by Christina Aguilera! LOL. I haven't seen Wicked, but maybe something from that.

I just talked to my husband about this, and he came up with more: "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" by the Police, "That Old Black Magic" by either Louis Prima or Sammy Davis Jr., "Black Magic Woman" by Santana, but I like Fleetwood Mac better on this song, "Bewitched" by Steve Lawrence, "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead" by Ella Fitzgerald, "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf, and "Magic" by Pilot.
