President Hinckley

Most of you may have heard that our sweet prophet died today. I am sad for us because I know we will all miss him, but I am sure he is happy to be with his sweetheart again.

This is just so sad. I'm heartbroken by this news, but at the same time I can't think of ANYONE who was more ready to cross the veil. He lived a good and full and long life and I think he really missed his wife. How happy they must be to be reunited.

I couldn't believe it when I heard, and I started to cry. I know I shouldn't be sad because he has been reunited with his sweet wife. However, I'm sure I'm not the only one who wonders what we will do without our sweet prophet!

I cried too right when we got off the phone. I was surprised by how sad it made me. I think I love him even more than I thought I did. It was out of nowhere too. I know he was 97 and it's not unexpected but you're never really ready for death if you don't know someone is ill.
